Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is scheduled to be in Melbourne from March 4 to March 6, attending the 9th Singapore-Australia Annual Leaders’ Meeting and the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit.
During his visit, Prime Minister Lee will engage in discussions with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at their annual meeting, which will conclude with a joint press statement. This meeting, established as part of the Singapore-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, serves as a crucial forum for both leaders to deliberate on bilateral collaborations and share insights on regional and global matters.
Additionally, the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit will be held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of dialogue relations between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Australia, highlighting the enduring partnership and cooperation between the regions.
