In a sorrowful incident on March 8, a motorcyclist lost his life in a complex crash involving a mix of vehicles on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards Tuas, near the Benoi Road exit. The accident occurred around 12:45 am, prompting immediate response from emergency services.
Casualties and Response
Authorities confirmed the death of the 33-year-old motorcyclist at the scene. The collision also involved two lorries, two other motorcycles, and a car. The car’s 33-year-old driver and his 46-year-old passenger sustained injuries but were conscious when transported to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital for treatment. Another 46-year-old motorcyclist was injured but declined medical transport to the hospital.
