A significant pipe burst occurred on Upper Thomson Road near Sin Ming Avenue on the evening of March 12, causing water to shoot up to an estimated 5 meters in height. The incident prompted immediate action from the Public Utilities Board (PUB), with repair crews promptly arriving on-site to address the issue. To ensure the safety of both the repair team and passing motorists, PUB has temporarily closed off the leftmost lane of Upper Thomson Road heading towards Lornie Road. Repair efforts are currently underway to restore normalcy to the area as swiftly as possible.
