Following a burst pipe incident on Upper Thomson Road, PUB has successfully completed repairs, leading to the reopening of the affected lane. The disruption began on the evening of March 12, when an extraordinary water fountain shot up to an estimated 5m height, caused by a public bus striking a road kerb and dislodging an underground water pipe fitting. Traffic flow was temporarily impacted as a portion of the road was cordoned off to facilitate the necessary repair works.
