Path to Paris

Ranked 28th globally in women’s foil, Berthier added critical points to her tally at the Grand Prix event in Washington DC, where she achieved a commendable joint-20th finish. This performance solidified her standing and ensured her passage to the Olympics.

A Trailblazer in Fencing

Berthier’s journey to the Olympics isn’t new; she made history in 2021 as the first Singaporean fencer to qualify for the Games. In Tokyo, she was part of a pioneering duo alongside epee fencer Kiria Tikanah, though both athletes concluded their campaign in the round of 32. Berthier’s qualification for Paris marks another significant milestone in her burgeoning fencing career.
