Changi Airport Group Announces Leadership Transition After 15-Year Tenure

Changi Airport Group (CAG) is set to welcome a new era of leadership as Mr. Lee Seow Hiang prepares to step down from his role as CEO in July, marking the end of a commendable 15-year period at the helm.

Successor Appointed

Mr. Yam Kum Weng, who currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Airport Development, is poised to take over the reins on July 1, signaling a smooth transition within the organization.

End of an Era

Mr. Lee, aged 54, will also step down from his positions as a director on the CAG board, and as chairman of the boards of Changi Airports International (CAI) and Jewel Changi Airport Development, leaving behind a legacy of significant achievements.

New Leadership

Mr. Yam, 59, is set to bring his extensive experience and vision to his new roles as he joins the CAG board and assumes the chairmanship of the CAI board starting July 1, ushering in a new chapter for CAG under his leadership.
