These meetings provided opportunities to discuss ongoing defence collaborations and exchange insights on military strategy and training.

He also experienced a familiarisation ride on the Terrex Infantry Carrier Vehicle and observed static displays of the Belrex Protected Combat Support Vehicle and the army’s suite of drones.

Strengthening Bilateral Ties

BG Shanonnizam’s visit underscores the close and enduring defence ties between Singapore and Brunei. The two nations have a history of robust defence cooperation, with regular joint exercises and exchange programs aimed at fostering greater interoperability and understanding between their armed forces.
