The ticket application is open for the main event on August 9 and two preview shows scheduled for July 27 and August 3.
How to Apply
Singapore citizens and permanent residents can apply for tickets in groups of two, four, or six. The application process is streamlined through the official NDP website or by scanning a QR code to access the form directly. Applicants are required to use their Singpass account to log in, ensuring a secure process and preventing fraudulent activities. The use of Singpass MyInfo for automated form filling is an additional convenience, safeguarding personal information and enhancing the user experience.
Balloting and Ticket Allocation
Unlike many events where tickets are distributed on a first-come-first-served basis, NDP tickets are allocated through an electronic balloting system. This method ensures fairness and equal opportunity for all applicants to enjoy the parade. The application period will close at noon on June 10, giving applicants a window of just over two weeks to submit their entries.
Ticket Requirements and Notifications
It’s important for attendees to note that each ticket admits only one spectator, regardless of age. This includes infants and children, who must also have a valid ticket to enter. This policy is strictly enforced to manage the venue capacity effectively.
Notification of Success
Applicants who are successful in the ballot will be notified via email between June 21 and June 25. This will give them ample time to plan their participation in the events, ensuring a memorable experience celebrating Singapore’s national pride.
