A resident in Punggol was taken by surprise when a monitor lizard wandered into his 11th-floor apartment on Thursday evening, June 27.
Family’s Quick Response
The reptile roamed around the living room, moving under the TV console and the sofa. The family quickly acted by chasing the lizard with brooms, eventually herding it onto the balcony and trapping it by locking the sliding doors.
NParks Intervention
Upon receiving a call, the National Parks Board (NParks) promptly arrived and captured the monitor lizard, ensuring the safety of both the reptile and the residents.
