On October 4, 2024, Taiwanese pop group Energy will join forces with Singaporean busker Jeff Ng for a special live performance outside The Cathay. The event, which is scheduled to take place from 9:30 pm to 10 pm, will feature all five members of Energy—Nick Yeh (Milk), Edy Hsiao (Ady), Kuo Wei-yun (Toro), Hsieh Kun-da, and Chang Shu-wei. This free public performance is part of the band’s promotion ahead of their much-anticipated concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 23, marking their return to Singapore after a 15-year hiatus.
Energy will also hold a fansign event at Our Tampines Hub on October 5, giving fans an opportunity to meet the group up close. Fans with tickets to the November concert will have a chance to get their tickets signed during the event.
Jeff Ng, also known as the “Cathay Busker,” gained viral fame through his TikTok performances and continues to attract large crowds with his regular shows. His collaboration with Energy for this unique busking event is expected to draw significant attention from both Energy fans and local music lovers alike.
