Details of the Fatal Shooting

The incident occurred just after midnight on Saturday at Villa Casa Santisya in Munggu village, Badung regency. Gunmen, reportedly speaking with Australian accents, arrived on two motorbikes, entered the villa, and opened fire.

  • Victim: Zivan Radmanovic, 32, from Melbourne, was shot dead at the scene.

Arrests and International Cooperation

Indonesian authorities confirmed on Tuesday that two suspects have been detained:

  • Another apprehended overseas and currently being extradited back to Indonesia.
The arrests were made in cooperation with the Australian Federal Police and Indonesian immigration agencies.

Investigation Underway

Police have seized 17 bullet casings and two intact rounds from the villa’s bathroom where Radmanovic was found.
Witness accounts describe two masked assailants—one in an orange jacket, the other in green—fleeing on scooters. Authorities believe the attack may be tied to organized crime, though the motive remains unclear.

Diplomatic Support and Next Steps

Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has offered consular assistance to the families. An autopsy is pending family approval, and local officials have launched a full-scale inquiry.
Further details will be disclosed at a Bali police press conference scheduled for Wednesday morning.

Ongoing Manhunt

Indonesian police are continuing to search for any remaining suspects and are urging the public to report sightings. Enhanced scrutiny of exit points and visa checkpoints in Bali has been implemented to prevent suspect flight .

This case highlights both Indonesia’s strengthened investigative collaboration with foreign agencies and Bali’s dedication to tourist safety. With arrests made and further inquiries underway, authorities aim to bring full clarity—and justice—to this violent and disturbing incident.
