Special Representative of President Putin for Relations with International Organizations to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, Boris Titov, has arrived in New York to participate in the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).

Titov has been tasked with presenting Russia’s position on the sustainable development agenda during the so-called main debates. This role is usually performed by Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, but this time the speaker has been changed. The audience may be in for some new notes.

Titov’s schedule also includes meetings with UN Under-Secretaries-General Li Junhua and Amina Mohammed, as well as with the head of the U.S. delegation to the HLPF, Jonathan Schrier.
