The 32-year-old female passenger was arrested on suspicion of consuming and possessing controlled drugs, possessing drug paraphernalia, and consorting with individuals carrying offensive weapons, according to a police statement issued on June 21.
Details of the Crash
Officers arrived at the scene to find a car speeding away, which subsequently skidded along Yishun Street 71. The driver abandoned the vehicle after the crash and escaped on foot, while the passenger was apprehended by police officers.
Discovery of Illegal Items
Upon inspecting the vehicle, police discovered a variety of weapons, including a samurai sword, along with substances suspected to be controlled drugs and drug paraphernalia.
