The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) in Singapore has arrested 67 suspected drug offenders following a series of recent raids, among them a 16-year-old girl. The raids, conducted from April 21 to April 26, resulted in the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of about S$62,000 (US$45,600).

Areas Covered in Operation

The CNB’s operation spanned multiple locations, including Aljunied, Beach Road, Bukit Batok, Bukit Merah, and Corporation Drive. The agency conducted coordinated raids across these areas, leading to the arrests and the confiscation of various drugs.

Youngest Suspect Under Investigation

The 16-year-old Singaporean girl is the youngest among those arrested and is currently being investigated for suspected drug abuse. The authorities did not disclose additional details about the circumstances of her arrest or her role in the drug-related activities.

Drugs Seized

The CNB seized a variety of drugs during the raids, including:

  • About 572g of cannabis
  • 222g of heroin
  • 55g of Ice (crystal methamphetamine)
  • 0.5g of ketamine
  • 19 Erimin-5 tablets
  • 5 ecstasy tablets
  • 3 bottles of liquid suspected to contain GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate)
  • 1 bottle of methadone

The drugs confiscated during the operation have an estimated street value of S$62,000 (US$45,600). The CNB’s efforts continue to focus on investigating and combating drug-related activities in Singapore, with ongoing inquiries into the suspects arrested during the raids.
