Locations for Heartland Celebrations
The heartland celebrations for Singapore’s 59th National Day will be held in Bishan, Punggol, Yishun, Paya Lebar, and Buona Vista, organizers announced on Friday (July 12).
Event Date and Activities
Scheduled for August 10, a day after the official National Day, the celebrations will include static displays of vehicles from the Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Police Force, and Singapore Civil Defence Force.
Additional Festivities
In addition to the vehicle displays, the heartland events will feature various exhibits, live performances, family-friendly activities, and fireworks. These activities aim to bring the festive spirit of National Day closer to residents in these areas.
