The National University of Singapore (NUS) has announced a significant relocation plan for its prestigious Faculty of Law. Starting August 2025, NUS Law will move from its current location at the Bukit Timah campus back to the Kent Ridge campus, integrating into the University Town setting.

Transition to Yale-NUS College Premises

The move will see NUS Law taking over the premises currently occupied by Yale-NUS College, following the graduation of Yale-NUS’s final batch of students in May 2025. This transition is part of a broader strategic development within the university to consolidate its faculties and enhance its educational offerings.

The relocation is expected to enrich the learning environment for law students by placing them closer to a wide range of academic facilities and interdisciplinary opportunities available at the Kent Ridge campus. This move aligns with NUS’s ongoing efforts to foster a more collaborative and integrated educational experience across its faculties.

The return of NUS Law to Kent Ridge marks a homecoming to its roots, promising new synergies and opportunities for students and faculty alike. As the faculty prepares for this transition, the anticipation builds for a new chapter that will continue the tradition of excellence in legal education at NUS.
