A 48-year-old woman was hospitalized following an accident that involved a police car at the junction of Tampines North Drive 2 and Tampines North Drive 1. The incident occurred on Friday, April 12, around 10:35 am, prompting an immediate response from the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
The woman, a passenger at the time of the accident, was taken conscious to Changi General Hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old police officer who was operating the vehicle is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The SPF is conducting a thorough review to determine the sequence of events leading up to the accident and to assess any necessary measures to prevent future occurrences.
