Meanwhile, Maximilian Maeder, a young kitefoiler who has already claimed world titles, received the Sportsboy of the Year award, highlighting his prowess and dominance in the sport at just 17 years old.

Darren Ong, a prominent bowler who secured the World Championships men’s singles title, was awarded the Sportsman of the Year. His victory at the World Championships marked a significant achievement in his career and for Singapore bowling. Additionally, wushu exponent Zeanne Law took home the Sportsgirl of the Year title, underlining her outstanding performances and potential in martial arts.
