Six individuals were discovered dead in a luxury hotel suite in central Bangkok, with authorities suspecting poisoning as the cause. The tragic incident occurred at the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel.

Details of the Victims

The bodies of three women and three men were found in a suite on the fifth floor by a hotel worker late Tuesday afternoon. Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin identified the victims as Vietnamese, with two holding American citizenship.

Circumstances of the Incident

Police believe the six individuals had been deceased for at least 24 hours before their discovery. The suite was locked from the inside, but hotel staff managed to enter through an alternative door. Authorities noted no signs of robbery or physical attack, suggesting the cause of death might be related to something consumed.

Ongoing Investigation

Images released by the police showed hotel food in the suite, still sealed in clingfilm and appearing untouched. However, six cups in the room seemed to have been used. The exact cause of death remains unknown, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
