About 100 People Evacuated After Fire Breaks Out in Buangkok Condominium Unit

On the night of October 6, approximately 100 residents were evacuated from their homes after a fire broke out in a fourth-floor condominium unit in Buangkok. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) reported that the fire engulfed the living room and kitchen areas of the unit.

Fire Extinguished with No Reported Injuries

Firefighters swiftly responded to the scene and used two water jets to extinguish the flames. Fortunately, no one was inside the unit at the time, and there have been no reports of injuries. However, the rest of the unit sustained heat and smoke damage due to the intensity of the fire.

Safety Measures Taken as Investigations Begin

Residents of the building were safely evacuated as a precautionary measure. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, and safety measures have been implemented to ensure the security of the condominium’s occupants.
