The Housing and Development Board (HDB) will be offering a total of 1,352 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats in Woodlands and Tampines, with waiting times of around three years, before the end of June.
Shortest Waiting Time in Woodlands
The Woodlands project, Marsiling Peak I, comprises 791 units and boasts the shortest waiting time of two years and 11 months among the upcoming BTO offerings. This project is part of the first batch of shorter-waiting-time flats—less than three years—to be launched in 2024, as announced by HDB on June 16.
Tampines GreenTopaz Project
In Tampines, the GreenTopaz project, located near Tampines West MRT station, will feature 561 flats. These units have a slightly longer waiting time of three years and one month, still maintaining a relatively short period compared to typical BTO projects.
Future Offerings
Throughout 2024, HDB plans to offer more than 2,800 shorter-waiting-time flats, including over 2,000 units in the October sales exercise. This initiative aligns with HDB’s commitment, made in 2023, to launch 2,000 to 3,000 shorter-waiting-time flats annually by 2025, enhancing housing accessibility for Singaporeans.
