The accused, Howard Lam Wen Jun, 24, faces two counts of theft as a servant. The incident occurred at Gym Virgin Active in Guoco Tower, and the watches have since been recovered. Lam has expressed his intention to seek legal advice and may apply for representation from the Public Defender’s Office. If convicted, he could face imprisonment for up to seven years, along with a fine.

According to the police, Lam allegedly stole the Rolex Submariner Hulk from a locker at Gym Virgin Active in Guoco Tower around 2 pm on January 10 of this year. Subsequently, a month later, he allegedly took the Patek Philippe from another locker belonging to a 35-year-old individual. The authorities were alerted to the case on February 17.
