In a firm denouncement, Singapore has expressed its condemnation of the harrowing attack at Moscow Crocus City Hall, which resulted in the tragic loss of over 60 lives and left 145 individuals wounded. The violent incident, which unfolded on Friday in the Moscow region and was subsequently claimed by the Islamic State, has been described by Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) as a chilling reminder of the persistent menace of terrorism.

Singapore’s MFA conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and extended wishes for a rapid recovery to those injured. The ministry emphasized the absence of reports indicating Singaporean nationals among the casualties. In light of the recent events, MFA has advised Singaporeans to postpone any non-essential travel to Russia and urged those currently in the country to exercise caution, stay informed through news updates, and follow the guidance of local authorities.
